Conference Dates and Times
This year's conference will be held on September 15-16, 2017 at the historic Flagler College in Saint Augustine, Florida, (74 King St, St Augustine, FL 32084.)
Friday, September 15th will be the pre-conference day, beginning at 12:30pm for registration and the welcoming ceremony is at 1pm. Saturday, September 16th, is the main conference day, beginning at 7:30pm with registration, and the welcoming ceremony at 8am.

Our guests who are registered for the Friday pre-conference session are invited to attend the VIP Pirate Dessert Party on Friday night, (you will receive your ticket on Friday, September 15.) Plan on dressing up for the event in historic or pirate costume themes (optional!) and getting to mingle with our VIP guests (keynote and mini-keynote speakers, as well as our donors/sponsors and vendors and more.) This event will have a cash bar and dessert for our guests, as well as a pirate story-teller who will entertain us with historic tales of St. Augustine and Florida. We hope to see you there!
St. Augustine Tours
2017 FLAG conference registration also includes discounts to tours and events around the city, including a 1.5-hour walking tour that is being provided to all conference registrants for free, by the "Tour Saint Augustine" company. In order to sign up for that free historic walking tour, as well as any other tour discounts they are offering our participants, you need to RSVP with their company as soon as possible. Each attendee to the conference will be able to show their registration badge in order to receive the free walking tour. You can RSVP with Tour St. Augustine at 904-825-0087. Let them know you will be with the gifted conference. (Available historic walking tour times: Friday, September 15, 2017- from 10:30am-12:00pm; And Sunday, September 17, 2017- from 10:00am-11:30am.) You can also ask them about half-price conference group rates to their ghost tour, history/mystery tour, and savory faire food tours.
We are excited to also be able to show the documentary, Rise: The Extraordinary Journey of the Exceptionally and Profoundly Gifted, from the Daimon Institute for the Highly Gifted. This movie is normally available for purchase from the Daimon Institute's website for $50, but 2017 FLAG conference registrants will be able to view this movie as part of your conference package, during our closing ceremony on Saturday, September 16! (Thank you to the Daimon Institute for a reduced price for FLAG to be able to do this!)
We have group rates arranged with a couple of hotels in the area for a limited number of rooms that you can reserve. If they fill up, there are many other hotels in that area as well as bed and breakfast options that you can arrange privately.

The early-bird member registration fee for the 2017 FLAG conference is $165 for Saturday’s events and keynote speakers that present that day only, or $205 for both Friday’s and Saturday’s events with all workshops and keynote speaker events, as well as a VIP pirate dessert party on Friday evening with conference speakers and sponsors. Both options include a free walking tour of St. Augustine from Tour St. Augustine, a local tour company (regular cost $25 per person), additional deep discounts on other area events/tours, and the Saturday continental breakfast and box lunch (as well as options for lunch time speaker panels).
This year FLAG will offer a package deal for children to attend the conference and participate in hands-on learning workshops with an accompanying adult ($200 for early-bird members, including admission for both the child and the adult to attend all Saturday’s events, as well as receive the same discounts and free historic walking tour as above.)
